Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for planning, designing, purchasing, and/or implementing integrated manufacturing processes in an industrial plant
• Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
• Works with engineering to identify problems with product and performance and recommends solutions or enhancements
• Performs equipment design evaluations and may develop new processes
• Plans and designs methods to improve efficiency in production
• Other roles as required

Key Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years applicable experience
• Ability to develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency
• Develop equipment to aid in the manufacturing process
• Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
• Proficient use of Microsoft tools and Lotus Notes applications.
• Must be an active listener and coach 
• Proactively identifies and addresses potential production disruptions
• Proactively identifies and addresses safety related process and equipment issues
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Six Sigma Training desired
