Responsibilities

• Provide design assistance for moderately complex engineering assignments including products, parts, components, or portions of major project.
• Make engineering drawings, & read & interpret blueprints using computer applications related to the engineering field  
• Sketch outline designs & use computer-aided design for detailed design, generating parts lists & specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas
• Consult with the marketing department about upgrading the product, failures in service & reducing the cost
• Consult with the development engineers about new products & the application of novel technology

Key Skills

• Bachelor degree in engineering and 2-4 yrs experience
• Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor
• Creativity, verbal & written communication skills, analytical & problem solving ability
• Team player & detail oriented
• Previous experience with computer applications & software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design – Pro/Engineer
