JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Position reports to a Project Controls Project Manager. Under direct/general supervision, this position performs project schedule / planning functions for the support of the project controls lead in the areas of project schedule development, contractor project schedule oversight, schedule forecasting, critical path analysis, reporting, obtaining schedule updates and update verification / validation.

• Specific activities include, but are not limited to, the following:•Assist with development of WBS, code structure and schedule format.o Work with project team to develop appropriate requirements.•Develop Level I and Level II project schedule.oWork with PM and Vendors to establish appropriate level of detail. •Compile basic schedule reports on a monthly and quarterly basis. oProgress - Actual vs Plan, oDefine primary, secondary and tertiary critical path, oDefine key milestone finish variance against baseline, o Identify risk, •Provide owner oversight for the integrated project CPM schedule, monitoring project milestones and interdependencies between sub-projects, • Monitor impact to outage related start up activities and provide status for outage meetings, Tools for general project control support: Primavera P6, Access, Excel, Word.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 -10 years experience.
• Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 scheduling system.
• Knowledge of critical path method of scheduling for medium and large projects.
• Ability to analyze schedules to determine duration and logic issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with co-workers, service providers, and customers.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel.
