JOB TITLE:  Senior Processing Engineer

LOCATION: Indianapolis

JOB DESCRIPTION: Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. May be assisted by less experienced team members. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity. Has appreciable latitude for un-reviews action or decision.Working under minimal supervision, carries out a variety of moderately complex to complex design assignments, exercising considerable to extensive latitude in the use of initiatives and independent judgment. Prepares sketches or completes detail and layout drawings from verbal or written instructions on product or plant equipment. Works independently on the development of original designs or adaptations requiring specialized experience. Will assist in trouble shooting and design process implementation directly on the production floor. May supervise lower level drafters on some phases of design.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent work/training. Over 5 years of relevant experience. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.
