JOB TITLE:  Unigraphics NX3 Designer

LOCATION: Indianapolis

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and modify UG Parametric 3D model/fully defined 2D drawings of moderately to complex parts or assemblies, working from sketches, layouts, notes or verbal instructions from engineers, or layout designers
• Work with engineers and layouts designers to achieve complete design
• Make simple mathematical calculations to define drawing dimensions and requirements
• use available standards to assure accuracy and completeness of the drawing specifications
• Enter required data in TcE

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years minimum detailing experience transmission components or comparable products using US NX3 or above
• Proficient in creating fully constrained 3D models using UG sketcher. 1 year min.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Techniques
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Associate degree in Drafting Technology or equivalent
• Training in computer graphics technology and UG tool
